safer sex on campus: launching the one® momentum® college ambassadors program

 At ONE® Condoms, we love creating programs that help bring art, creativity and the community together to promote sexual health. Those include our Project Condom fashion show program, our new ONE® on Stage program that works with local bands, and our Momentum® Loyalty Program where you complete challenges for points that you can use to redeem free products and swag. We work with amazing artists, from street art to fine art, through our Art of ONE program. 

And now, we’re launching a program to meet the needs of students on campuses at colleges and universities. The ONE® College Ambassadors Program empowers students to become advocates for sexual health on their campus.

 What is the ONE® College Ambassadors Program about?

ONE® College Ambassadors Program is an extension of our Momentum Loyalty Program. The College Ambassador Program is for active students on a college/university campus in the U.S.. It is a peer-led initiative designed to educate students about the importance of safer sex practices and to provide them with the resources they need to make informed decisions about their sexual health. College ambassadors are inspired to lead discussions, distribute condoms, and serve as knowledgeable resources for their peers. We send them condoms, educational pamphlets, FitKit measuring tools, stickers, and more to help them to spark conversations. Our goal is to increase condom and lubricant use, promote sexual health, and reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unintended pregnancies. Learn more & join us!

Promoting Safer Sex Practices

The goal is to get campuses talking about safer sex in fun and engaging ways! Ambassadors receive training, such as “Condoms 101” and “Proper Condom Fit Training,” so they feel prepared to educate about safer sex. And then through activities such as hosting tabling events and distributing condoms, they can share the knowledge among peers. 

Empowering Students

The program empowers students to stand up for sexual health! By becoming ambassadors, students develop leadership skills, gain education on safer sex, and make a positive impact on their community.

Reducing Stigma

The program aims to reduce the stigma around condom use and discussions about sexual health. By normalizing these conversations, ambassadors help create an environment where students feel comfortable seeking information and using protection.

Building a Supportive Community

We hope the program fosters a sense of community and support among students. Ambassadors work together to create a safe and inclusive campus environment where everyone feels respected and informed.

Active U.S. college students interested in becoming ambassadors can apply here! You’ll answer a few questions, and we’ll then email you with next steps once we’ve reviewed your application. Contact ambassadors@onecondoms.com with any questions about the application process or overall program.
