ONE® Condoms Partners with Prevention Meets Fashion for 8th Annual Condom Fashion Show

Since 2018, Prevention Meets Fashion (PMF) and ONE® have partnered to create a unique space where sexual health education meets creativity, empowering communities with important resources and knowledge in Philadelphia. We are excited to reflect on our continued collaboration, highlighted at the 8th Annual Condom Fashion Show and Education Event, held in February 2025.

This year’s event took place in honor of Black History Month, National Condom Month, and Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month, and was a powerful opportunity to engage communities around health equity. Prevention Meets Fashion collaborated with Temple University’s Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) Alpha Omicron Chapter to center the event around the theme of Equity in Action, focusing on the intersection of health education, Black history, and the empowerment of marginalized communities.

The event featured a dynamic lineup of activities, including breakout discussions by local experts on health equity in the Black/African American community, a presentation on Teen Dating Violence, and a creative, community-driven condom fashion show featuring designs made by local youth and community organizations. Over 50 people registered for the event, with more than 40 attendees actively participating in this vibrant celebration of education and creativity.

Nhakia Outland, Founder and Executive Director of PMF, shared this summary of the event:

"This year's event was our 8th Annual Condom Fashion Show and Educational Event. We collaborated with a local university to bring together Black History Month, National Condom Month, and Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Prevention Meets Fashion met with several youth organizations to have them design for this year's show".

Our continued partnership supports PMF’s mission by providing safer sex supplies like custom ONE® condom tins, swag, and condoms for the couture designs.

The event was a great success, not only in delivering essential education but also in creating a creative and supportive space where attendees could connect, engage, and learn from each other. We are proud to support Prevention Meets Fashion in this impactful event and grateful for the collaboration with Temple University’s Eta Sigma Gamma (ESG) and the local youth organizations who helped make it all possible. Together, we are making a positive difference in promoting sexual health and awareness.
