We’re excited to highlight Jayden Pautz, a ONE® College Ambassador and student behind SHAG’s 'Sizing Saturday' event at Washington and Lee University. This fun and educational event, held on February 1st, was all about breaking down the stigmas surrounding safer sex and condom usage. The event featured information about proper condom fit and giving samples of the MyONE® Custom Fit® line of 52 condom sizes.
Jayden kindly answered some questions to highlight the event understand the event and the important work she’s doing on campus. Here’s what she had to say!

Q: Why did you decide to host the Sizing Saturday event?
Jayden: Our campus is pretty conservative, and discussions around safer sex are often avoided. A lot of students don’t have proper education when it comes to condoms and contraception, so I wanted to help change that. SHAG’s mission is to break the stigma around these topics and create a more open, supportive environment where students feel comfortable accessing the information and resources they need. Sizing Saturday was a fun and approachable way to start that conversation and make sure students were getting the facts about safer sex.
Q: What was the goal of the event, and how did it go?
Jayden: The main goal was to educate students about condom sizes and how important it is to choose the right one. We wanted to create a welcoming space where people could come, ask questions, and pick up free safer sex materials. We also demonstrated how to use the FitKits with a crocheted prop (it was a crowd favorite!). We encouraged people to visit the ONE Condoms website to get free MyONE sample kits and learn more about their mission. The event went really well—we had great turnout, and it was exciting to see students engaging with the materials and learning something new!
Q: Why is this kind of event so important to you?
Jayden: Sexual education should be available to everyone, and it should be something we talk about openly. In more conservative environments, it can be hard to have these conversations, and that can leave students feeling isolated or unsure about where to get information. We want to change that and create a space where students can feel supported and empowered to learn about their sexual health and make informed choices.
Q: As a ONE® College Ambassador, what role does ONE® play in your work?
Jayden: Being a ONE College Ambassador has been such an amazing experience! As part of the first cohort we launched last fall, I received MyONE samplers, the MyONE FitKit measuring tool, and some other ONE swag. These resources have been huge in helping me spread the word on campus about safer sex and how to find the right condom for you. It’s been awesome to have the support from ONE to bring these important conversations to life on my campus!
Q: What’s next for SHAG and your campus initiatives?
Jayden: We’re kicking off a new initiative to distribute safer sex supplies across campus. Right now, while the college provides the materials, they aren’t being actively distributed. SHAG is working to change that, and I’m excited to see it come to life. We’re hoping this initiative will make a big difference not just on our campus, but at other smaller, more conservative schools as well. Events like Sizing Saturday are just the beginning, and I’m excited to keep pushing for more positive change!
A huge thank you to Jayden for sharing her experience and insights with us! As a college ambassador, she’s doing incredible work to break down barriers and promote safer sex education at her school despite the barriers faced. We can’t wait to see what’s next for her and SHAG!
Stay tuned for more updates, and keep up the amazing work, Jayden!
