FLAG (Friends, Lesbians, and Gays) Flag Football is Boston’s premiere flag football league for the LGBTQIA+ community and one of the largest gay sports leagues in Boston. Founded in 1998, they are a recreational football club playing on Saturdays in the spring and fall. All skill levels are encouraged to participate, and they are committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable setting for those who want to play football and foster community. Since inception, they have grown from just 20 players in their first year to as many as 24 teams of 13 players each in recent fall seasons.
