Are glow in the dark condoms safe to use?

At ONE® Condoms, we take quality and safety seriously. Our glow-in-the-dark condoms meet the same rigorous FDA and international testing standards as all of our other products. Each condom undergoes extensive testing to ensure dependable protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and unintended pregnancies.

The glowing effect comes from a phosphorus powder that absorbs light and emits a soft glow. This powder is safely sealed between thin layers of latex—so it never comes into contact with the skin and won’t rub off during use.

Do glow in the dark condoms really work?

Glow-in-the-dark condoms get their radiant effect from a thin layer of phosphorous pigment. This non-toxic pigment absorbs light and then releases it as a soft, seductive glow. That’s why these condoms need to be “charged” for about 30 seconds before use. Don’t worry—you won’t need a USB cord or outlet! Just hold your condom up to a light source before use. The Glowing Pleasures condom wrappers are slightly translucent, so you can even charge them without opening the package.
