ONE® Move® is a silicone-based lubricant. The formula is designed to be luxuriously long-lasting and silky smooth.
What is Silicone Based Lubricant?
Silicone-based lube is a personal lubricant made with medical grade silicone. These lubes are typically long-lasting, pH-neutral, and waterproof (making them great for long-lasting sex and shower sex).
Is Silicone Lube Safe?
Yes, silicone lubricant is made with body-safe medical grade silicone. Silicone lube like ONE® Move® is made with super clean ingredients. ONE® Move® has only two ingredients: Dimethicone, Dimethiconol. ONE® Move® contains no glycerin, propylene glycol, sulfates, hormones, parabens, dyes, fragrances, oils, phthalates or gluten.
How to Clean Silicone Lube?
Silicone lubricants like ONE® Move® are super slippery, so be careful how you apply. On your body, wash with soap and water (might take a little bit longer).
If you get it on a surface like the floor, clean it up with warm water and soap or a degreaser. It might require a few rounds; keep cleaning until the “shine” is gone.
Due to the nature of silicone, it can stain sheets. If you do get it on your sheets, make sure to pre-treat the stain on the fabric before you put it in the washing machine (do the hottest temperature setting that fabric allows).
Can You Use Silicone Lube with Condoms?
Yes. Silicone lubricant is condom compatible meaning that it will not affect the effectiveness of condoms. ONE® Move® is compatible with latex, polyisoprene, polyurethane, and nitrile condoms.
Can You Use Silicone Lube with Silicone Toys?
No. Silicone lube should not be used with silicone toys. The silicone in the lube can degrade the silicone used for sex toys. You can use silicone lubricant on toys made from other materials, like glass dildos. Or use a different type of lubricant with your silicone toys, such as the ONE® Oasis® or ONE® True® water-based lubricants.
Is Silicone Lube Safe for Anal Sex?
Yes. Silicone lube is a great option for anal sex. Silicone does not absorb into skin, so it is long-lasting and doesn’t need frequent reapplication.
Is ONE® Move® Silicone-Based Lube Edible?
ONE® Move® can be used for oral sex. ONE® products are made from high-quality, body safe ingredients. It’s generally safe to consume ONE® Move®; however, we do not recommend ingesting lubricant in large quantities. Please check that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Does Silicone Lube Expire?
Yes, all lubricant expires. To ensure that you are not using expired lubricant, check out the date on the bottle. On ONE® lubricants the expiration date is listed underneath the barcode.
What Does pH-Neutral Mean?
pH is a measure of the acidity or alkalinity of a water-based environment. pH ranges from zero to 14. If a pH is lower than 7, it is more acidic. When it is above 7, the pH is more alkaline. When looking for lubricants, you may want to match your lubricant pH to your pH. Note: The vagina and the anus have different pH levels.
Using a pH-friendly lubricant can support natural flora, whereas a lubricant with a very low or high pH may increase risk of irritation or bacterial imbalance for some people.
However, pH only applies to water-based lubricants. Because silicone is anhydrous (contains no water), it does not have a pH level. Therefore, silicone lubricants are often called pH-neutral. While technically they have no pH, they are considered neutral in practice because they do not react with or change the body's natural acidity. Silicone acts as an inert barrier and does not disrupt the chemical balance of your tissues, making it a great option for people who may have sensitivities to water-based lubricant formulas.
