As their name suggests, the music of North Star the Wanderer (NSTW) is expansive and takes listeners on a journey, often ending up in a very different place from where it started but always rooted in the fundamentals: harmony, raw energy, and riffs. They inhabit the lonely wasteland somewhere between Neurosis and Testament, Mastodon, Isis, and Anathema.
